POWERPLANT

This summer the 11th-12 graders will have the opportunity to be a part of what the Lord is going in North America.  We are going to be attend POWERPLANT, which is a part of the North American Mission Board.  We will be working in Nashville, TN and the dates will be July 5- 10.  This is going to be an awesome opportunity to see the Lord at work and be a part of His plan for reaching people for His glory.  Instead of trying to put it all in my own words, here is a little blurb about what POWERPLANT is.

Description PowerPlant is a ministry of the North American Mission Board designed to engage students in church planting and evangelism. The first PowerPlant project was in 2003, and it has been growing since then. PowerPlant participants will learn church planting principles and evangelism skills each morning, then have a chance to engage personally through assigned ministry team activities in the afternoon and evening. Students and adults will begin to see that the church is not about buildings . . . it’s about people! And there are lots of people in North America who need Christ!

The heart behind our ministry is that each student truly seek to make their ‘WHATEVER’ count for something and allow God to use their ‘WHATEVER” to reach others for Christ. God has given each student gifts and talents in order to first glorify Him, and second in order to be a blessing to others.
