Converge

Converge is our large group worship time on Wednesday nights @ 6:15 pm. This is a time when all of the youth are together for times of Praise & Worship, prayer, games, fellowship and an in-depth study of God’s Word. We believe that students need to be deeply rooted in the Bible and prepared to take that Truth to the world around them. We also want to instill the beauty of worship and that worship isn’t just songs we sing, worship is a lifestyle. Often times during Converge will be will work through a specific book of the Bible or through a series on a specific topic; but we always seek to present God’s Word in a relevant way and in a way that finds application in the lives of the students. Although we have Converge every Wednesday night, we vary the specific focus depending on which Wednesday it is during the month. On the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Wednesdays of the month we will have music as well as a time in God’s Word followed by some small group discussion time. On the 2nd Wednesday of the month we will focus our attention on reaching out to those students who may be unchurched, lost or just seeking to understand Christianity better. On this night we will have games, music as well as a Gospel-centered message from the Word. On the 4th Wednesday night of every month we will engage in community service/ mission projects as we seek to be the hands and feet of Christ to those around us. We want to always keep our focus on both loving God and loving people.
